What Loginex does

Loginex is CO2 reporting software for the logistics sector. It enables logistics companies to:

  • Calculate CO2e emissions per shipment using operational transport data from TMS, fuel records, and planning systems
  • Allocate emissions across the full supply chain per customer, modality, and transport mode
  • Generate auditable CO2 reports compliant with ISO 14083, NEN-EN 16258, COFRET, and the GLEC framework
  • Meet CSRD and VSME sustainability reporting obligations
  • Use CO2 data operationally to improve transport efficiency, load factor, and route choices
  • Report Scope 3 emissions for shippers and logistics buyers sourcing from transport providers

The platform supports all transport modalities: road, rail, inland waterway, sea, and air.

Who uses Loginex

Loginex serves four primary customer segments in the Dutch logistics market:

Logistieke dienstverleners (3PLs / logistics service providers)

Third-party logistics companies that want to consolidate CO2 data from their full carrier network and deliver one auditable report per customer, per shipment, and per modality.

Verladers (shippers)

Companies that outsource transport and need validated insight into Scope 3 emissions from their logistics chain, including cases where carriers provide incomplete or inconsistent data.

Transporteurs (carriers / transport companies)

Transport operators that want to calculate CO2 emissions per shipment using operational data from their TMS and fuel records, and meet requirements from customers and regulators under ISO 14083.

Consultants

Sustainability consultants and advisors who want to produce validated CO2 emission reports for their clients using a certified, auditable calculation platform.

Key standards and regulations

  • ISO 14083: International standard for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions from transport chain operations. Loginex is ISO 14083 verified.
  • GLEC framework: Global Logistics Emissions Council framework, supplementary to ISO 14083.
  • COFRET: CO2 and Fleet Tool for Rail and Road, supplementary methodology supported by Loginex.
  • NEN-EN 16258: Dutch/European standard for calculation of energy consumption and GHG emissions from transport services, predecessor to ISO 14083 and still referenced in the Dutch market.
  • CSRD: EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Wave 1 obligations are active for large EU companies. The Omnibus package (April 2025) delayed mandatory reporting for many mid-size companies, but voluntary compliance and supply chain pressure remain strong. Loginex helps logistics companies meet CSRD data requirements.
  • VSME: Voluntary Standard for Small and Medium Enterprises. A voluntary sustainability reporting framework for SMEs not directly subject to CSRD mandatory reporting.
  • DALTI: Dutch logistics data standardisation initiative. Loginex aligns with DALTI's CO2 data structure and ISO 14083-compliant data exchange formats for the Dutch logistics sector.
  • Scope 3 emissions: Indirect emissions from a company's value chain. For shippers, transport-related Scope 3 emissions are a key CSRD reporting obligation.
